- About -

Jennafer Kathleen May Harris hails from the Ottawa Valley in Canada. The wetlands, farmlands and lake shores have all inspired her creative endeavors. Jenna experiments with different mediums including acrylic, watercolor and fabric. To her collectors, her strength coupled by her ambitions, remains the oil on canvas. The Rideau Valley Art Festival in Westport, awarded her oil, title: ‘Calabogie Dreamin,’ 2nd Place, October 2010. The following Canada Day, Jennafer was interviewed by Mike Cavenough on JackFM Radio, to talk about her works. Her talents allow her to capture the essence and the spirit within her creations. Her ability to see depth of colour and contrast was extenuated by her late aunt, Patricia Lynn Harris.
This unique relationship lead to the development of Sew Fancy Paints. Jennafer has been able to incorporate the work of her aunt; encompassing different mediums with grace and style. Sew Fancy Paints received an Honorable Mention for this collaborating acrylic, title: ‘Grass on the Prairies’ at the Gallery Ring in February 2020. With detailed accuracy by learning how to adapt creatively, Jennafer has been inspired by the work of her aunt and strives to a collaborative role; presenting works of art that touch on the true aspects of depth and meaning.
