7th Annual Black & White Art Exhibition

Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 7th Annual Black & White International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in two categories: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography using black & white & the nuanced shades in between. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The 7th Annual Black & White Best in Show winners are Maxwell G. Miller for his charcoal on paper, “BEHIND THE CURTAIN” and Steve Stratis for his digital art, “RIPPLED INK”. Maxwell and Steve are Fusion Art's Featured Artists for the month of March 2023 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art's Annual Group Show in Santa Fe, NM in 2024. 

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Cher Pruys and Tom Fournier-Park. Third Place awards were given to Francesco Puliga and Cheryl L. Hrudka. Fourth Place awards were given to Mel Fiorentino and A.D. Strange. Fifth Place awards were given to Robert Greenlay and Sara Victoria Sandberg.

In addition, six artistic excellence awards and six honorable mention awards were given due to the exceptional quality of the art received for this exhibition. The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, China, Italy, Nigeria, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Sweden. Overall, the gallery judged 281 entries and accepted 108 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for three months.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure through the gallery’s extensive marketing and social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
