The artists, designers and makers of Art House Croydon are opening the doors to their studios this September for the first Open Studio event at this exciting new creative hub for Croydon.
The building opened in 2018 and is owned by Artists Studio Company (ASC), one of the U.K’s largest charities providing workspace to artists and makers.
Comprising of 104 brand new purpose built art studios, the building houses a plethora of diverse creative talent across art, design, craft and making. Disciplines include but are not limited to painting, sculpture, print making, knit wear design, photography, upholstery, embroidery, ceramics, filmmaking and many more. The 50+ participating creatives will be in their studios available to discuss their practice and show their wares. This is also a great opportunity to buy work directly from the studios.
There will be an opening night event on Friday the 13th of September with food and drinks from 6pm to 9pm and the event continues on Saturday the 14th from 12-5pm.
