In December, Partners Gallery is having a special holiday show of gifts by artists and craftspeople. There are finely crafted wooden boxes, sculptures and toys by local skilled woodworkers. There are children’s hats and ornaments from recycled fabric and merino wool felt lidded boxes. Other works include “coloring book” cards, enamel dishes, jewelry and ceramic pieces as well as art works by gallery members. Now almost 20 years old, Partners Gallery is an artist member owned and managed gallery on the Mendocino Coast in Fort Bragg dedicated to high quality contemporary art. The gallery produces monthly exhibits of Partners artists while continuing the gallery mission to give visibility to other community artists. Invitational shows have included high school students, printmakers, photographers, emerging artists, quilt artists, woodworkers and more. There are also juried shows open to all artists in California and juried by professional curators, thus bringing new and interesting perspectives to the local scene
