Disturb the Comfort, an international online painting solo exhibition by Eileen Tsoi opens on August 01 and will continue through August 31, 2021.
Eileen's work is a fusion of impressionism and surrealism and expresses her reaction toward ongoing social events by using metaphors in her art.

Artist:
Eileen Tsoi (Tsoi Yuk Ling), born in 1998, a fine artist based in Hong Kong. Eileen started her own customized product business, Beamal studio, in early 2020. In the meantime, she held different painting workshops around Hong Kong to spread the concept of expressing daily pressure through painting. She also worked on some mural projects during these year, projects included a Japanese restaurant, hair salon, and lounge, else. Recently, she worked as an art teacher in Creart Creative Center by teaching 3-10years old students. In this stage, she would love to focus on more personal works and painting with oil.
Eileen Tsoi was strongly inspired by impressionism and surrealism. She admires the coloring techniques and the use of symbolism, which therefore has became a major influence in her painting style and technique. Through the usage of metaphor in her paintings, she has a passion to express her attitude towards current ongoing social events. Animals are often used as a subject in her paintings to metaphorically show a dreamers’ feelings and her inner thoughts, which are consistently conveyed through the heavy brushworks. Most of her paintings contain a certain kind of deep and passionate message that is so soothing in a way, it also appeases herself throughout the painting process. She would love to create a painting that seeks to revel in colors and capture the mood of the atmosphere. She hopes to explore further possibilities in her painting, so that she could create more connections with her audience and sincerely touch their hearts.
