Petals in Perspective: Macro Floral Blooms; an international online solo painting exhibition by Susan Coco opens on November 25, 2023, and will continue for two months until January 25, 2024.
Susan Coco uses heavy texture, impasto and impressionistic style. The bright, vibrant and bold colors in her paintings are a result of her passion for vivid color and beauty. Realism with macro florals is what she likes to paint most of the time. Flowers are a magnificent creation, especially when magnified.

Artist:
Susan was born and raised in Smithfield, Rhode Island and currently residing in the Dallas area of Texas. Drawing started at an early age for her when she’d sit in her bedroom and draw whatever inspired her. Her Mother saw her talent and enrolled her in Private Art Lessons for several years where she learned to draw with charcoal, pastel and painted with oils.
After retiring from aviation, inspiration struck her once again. Acrylics were the medium she chose. Her visual language and what inspires her to paint is everything she sees that is created from God. She’s driven to paint with bright, bold and vibrant colors. Her paintings draw you in and evoke emotions. On one occasion, she was given a dream by God to paint Golgotha, a powerful spiritual painting. Recently she has changed up her style by adding mixed media, palette knife and heavy texture. Susan is a member of the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco and also a member of the Visual Art League of Lewisville, Texas.
