Light Tells Tales; an international online solo wood art exhibition by Ivo Stamenov opens on November 18 and will continue for two months until January 18, 2024.
Creating wooden lamps that tell stories is Ivo Stamenov's artistic passion. Each piece he crafts is a unique blend of nature's beauty and human creativity, inspired by the world around him from the ancient forests that whisper secrets in the wind to the vibrant cityscapes that pulse with life. He uses a combination of traditional woodworking techniques and modern technology to bring his visions to life, resulting in lamps that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and durable.

Artist:
Ivo Stamenov - Otto is a graduate of Technical University - Sofia.
Since 1989 he has worked in many theatres in Sofia, and with the advent of private radio stations in Bulgaria (around 1992) he is a sound engineer at Radio Express, Radio 99 and Radio Vitosha.
Around 2002 he started experimenting with wood as a material. He started with children's toys, and quickly came up with the idea of workshops where participants make their own toys and Ivo shows and helps. These workshops became very popular in Bulgaria and Europe.
In 2013 he created a working mini model of a theatre, with which he participated two years in a row in the largest toy exhibition in the world in Nuremberg.
Around 2015, he started making boutique lamps from wood that tell stories.
With his lamps he participates in collaborative exhibitions with other artists, and since 2020 he also makes one solo exhibition in Sofia every year.
