Chaos and Serenity: A Solo Painting Exhibition by Colbi Johnson

My name is Colbi. I am 24 years old. I am a mixed media, fluid artist based out of Fredericksburg, VA. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Arts in World Languages and Cultures in 2020. I began teaching myself how to create fluid paintings in October 2021. It started off as a hobby for therapeutic relief and then quickly became away for me to connect with people from all over world. I sold my first physical painting in March of 2022. Shortly after, I digitized the painting, minted it into an NFT creating a small collection of 10. I released it on www.rarible.com on March 29, 2022, and it was sold out by March 30, 2022. Since the debut of my first and second collection of art minted into NFTs, I have interviewed for a documentary, Soul Rebel NFT. I displayed my artwork at NFT Expoverse L.A. While in Los Angeles for NFT Expoverse L.A. , I also interviewed for News 11 and a smaller media company called LaHitz Media.
