A Chef With A Heart For Art, an international online solo painting exhibition by Winston Harrell opens on June 30, and will continue through July 30, 2022.
Winston Harrel jr. is an American born artist from Oceanside, California. He lived in Chicago/Atlanta for many years. His artwork is drawn from the world around him and his imagination is endless.
His Artwork is inspired by his childhood memories and his life long experiences.
His illustrations combine graphic design with a illustrative art that produced art with a flair and a provacative edge. Studying Art and Graphic design in Chicago, Atlanta and Phoenix has given him and his unique international appeal.
Working as a Chef for years has enriched his life and brought a better understanding of his creative accolades.

Artist:
Winston Harrell is an American-born Artist from Oceanside California. In 1958 he relocated to Chicago Illinois where he learned the basic fundamentals of Art and Design. He started his artistic journey by participating in the Mayor Summer Youth Program for inner-city emerging artists. This program allowed him to learn mural creation while earning money for art supplies.
Later to better fuel his curiosity of Art he enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu of Chicago, The Art Instruction Schools of Minneapolis Minnesota, and Westwood college of Atlanta Georgia where he received two AAS degrees. As an artist, he studied storybook illustration at The Art Institute of Phoenix in 2011 where he perfected his unique brand of hand-drawn illustration and graphic design. He currently sells his artwork at 2nd Friday events in and around the Phoenix/Mesa Arizona area. He is also a member of the Arizona Artist Guild.
