The series One Fried Egg originated from a video project using mid 20th Century photography yearbooks as inspiration. Left with surplus photocopies from the project, the artist chopped, pasted and pieced them together to form new scenes and mini worlds across black paper pages.  The result conjours explosive science labs, murky meetings and hidden corners, shadowy crowds and individuals lost in their own reveries.  The quiet and nostalgic feel of the photographs is offset by the use of strong neon colours and the busy collage by minimal line compositions alongside.

As rules can be helpful for indecisive people she set two: 1. That everything must be used up. 2 That only the same paint and pictures used in the video may be used on the collages.  She is still working towards rule number 1. She has broken rule number 2 once so far.
