All Women International Online Art Exhibit

J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its All Women International Online Juried Art Exhibition for the month of May 2018.

Women artists have been making art throughout history, however, their work, when compared to their male counterparts, tends to be overlooked and undervalued.  Women artists are often faced with challenges due to gender biases in the fine art world.

Therefore,  we are honoring women artists.  We invited women artists to submit work that best represented themselves as artists.  

Each of our monthly themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place are presented.  The First Place winner is Leigh Elliott for her oil painting, Ed at the Cigar Shop.  As the First Place winner, Leigh will also be our Featured Artist for the month of May.  Click here to see more of her work.

Taking Second Place is Liz Claus for her photograph,  Pool 1002, and Third Place goes to Alex Rudin for her acrylic, pastel and ink piece, All Things Must Pass.

Twelve honorable mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Nancy Bruce for her mixed media piece, Surf, Candace Cima for her watercolor, Then She Took A Selfie, Brandi Foster for her photograph, Coca-Cola Bricks, Amy Louise Lee for her molten metal on canvas, Raw Grace 7, Lucy Chenhui Li for painting, When I Was Young, Deepti Mohile for her colored pencil, Ready For Some Pasta, Amy Raudenbush for her watercolor, Art Student 5, Kayla Reesor for ceramic scultpure, Lost In Thought, Violetta Antonia Sorcini for her acrylic on canvas, Imaginarium, Lisa Szkolnick for her Pencil drawing, Cassie, Claire Toney for her digital art, Waiting and Thalie B. Vernet for her photography, Nuba.
