Saturday, 1 June 2019 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Join social practice artist Ramekon O'Arwisters at the Bedford Gallery for Crochet Jam, a fun and friendly weaving art workshop! Learn to crochet side-by-side with O’Arwisters, who is featured in the gallery’s current exhibition Tradition Interrupted. This ongoing community art project is based on his life-long connection to the African American tradition of weaving in inclusive, friendly environments without rules or restrictions. This art workshop is perfect for all-ages and no experience is necessary. Hot beverages will be provided by Numi Organic Tea, with snacks by the Bedford Gallery.
