Bring your bisqueware and join us for an exciting Raku workshop! Glazes included! Raku is an ancient Japanese technique that dates back to the 16th century. The ceramic pieces are then placed into a kiln, fired for about 40 to 50 minutes, and then while still hot, the piece is then placed in a combustible material such as sawdust or newspaper. As the piece cools, the variety of colors on the pieces starts to show. Each ceramic piece is truly one of a kind! Intermediate level required.
