The Outsider Art Fair is the singular event to feature works by both celebrated and newly discovered self-taught artists from around the world. The 2015 edition of the Outsider Art Fair in New York will be held from January 29 – February 1 at Center 548 (548 West 22nd Street, New York, NY 10011), and will showcase over 45 international galleries from 27 cities representing 8 countries.

Jay Gorney and Anne Doran will curate a special exhibition, entitled "If I Had Possession over Judgment Day." The show will bring together works by five artists, Melvin Way (b. 1954), Emery Blagdon (1907–1986), Adolf Wölfli (1864–1930), Mark Lombardi (1951–2000), and the Philadelphia Wireman (20th century), whose lives span three centuries and whose practices incorporate disparate media, from batteries to ballpoint pen. A keen sense of paranoia unites the artists. Their works, made to control chaos or ward off disaster, serve a talismanic purpose, whether medicinal, protective, instructive, wishful, or cathartic.
