As You Style It

The Rymer Gallery is pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition As You Style It,featuring new paintings by Celeste Rapone and Marcus Durkheim. The show opens Saturday, April 5, 2014 and will run through Saturday, April 26, 2014.

As You Style It is a joint exhibition featuring new paintings by Celeste Rapone and Marcus Durkheim alongside new crayon sculptures by Herb Williams. Celeste Rapone's iconic and flamboyant paintings were recently featured in New American Paintings, while Marcus Durkheim's contemporary, realistic, yet skewed oil paintings received The Rymer Gallery Director's Choice Purchase Award this past summer. Herb Williams's new life size crayon works are inspired by contemporary fashion trends, and are as enjoyable to smell as they are to view. Together the artists create a multimedia viewing experience that pushes the boundaries of both art and style
