Tom Chambers~ A 15 Year Retrospective

Photographer Tom Chambers creates magical, narrative photomontages that seek to merge reality and dreams. Inspired by folktales, literature, travel and imagination, each photograph aims to tell an unfinished story. Dabbling in magical realism and a reverence for the natural world, Chambers explores “places where unexpected circumstances collide.” This March Gilman Contemporary will exhibit works from many of Chamber’s varied series, all of which celebrate that surprising twist that takes a photograph from the expected to the unexpected.
