Platform Exhibition

In this exhibition, Pintora provides a platform for seven young artists who haven’t yet benefited from representation, and a first sight of many works which have never been shown.

These emerging artists, selected from a new generation of talent, demonstrate the extraordinary diversity, skill and creativity with which art is progressing.

PLATFORM throws a light on a succession of art that pitches itself at the denouement of the hyper-conceptual, dematerialised art of the early twenty-first century. Unafraid of traditional forms and media, this art uses convention as a framework within which to express a spirit of playful individualism.

Gathering this collection has been a journey that has taken us from sheds to attics, studios to foundries, simultaneously uncovering beautiful artworks from storage and watching them take form in front of us.

The opportunity to bring these works into play with each other has been a joy and privilege. We are proud to be working closely with a group of such inspiring and interesting individuals, and we urge viewers to engage with the pieces as products of the personalities of which they are born.
