The Brick Lane Gallery is excited to present PHOTOGRAPHY NOW, our Summer exhibition showcasing local and international photographers who explore and reveal innovative techniques, different themes and new approaches into this ever-changing practice.

Alex T creates artworks that capture beauty using geometric structures, combining different shades and mixing several patterns. He also explores the dark side of the world where there is no certainty and a clear goal of being, where we can only find questions and no answers. It is an invitation to explore a hidden side and confronts the viewers with dualities and invites them to question them through his works.Nikolas Mühlethaler’s work is motivated by the idea that there are billions of moments seen by an individual in a lifetime but they can not be saved to be remembered or looked back at afterwards. In a nostalgic way, he aims to capture an instant that otherwise might be unnoticed or would be forgotten. His collection of memories are extremely engaging and bring out positive thoughts and feelings in the audience.

You are warmly welcome to join us for a drink with the artists at the opening night of PHOTOGRAPHY NOW at The Brick Lane Gallery – The Annexe open from 6pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 5th August 2015.
