Five artists at Empress Mews are opening their studios to the public as part of Camberwell Arts Open Studios during the weekend of 17-18 June, so you can meet the makers and check out their fabulous studio spaces as well.
Pauline Amphlett is a notable printmaker whose work has been shown at Affordable Art Fair and numerous exhibitions around London. She produces etchings and screenprints inspired by her locality and her travels.
Gabriela Szulman’s work is inspired by the notion of memories and how they change, dissipate and at the same time feed us. She uses found papers such as letters, photographs and newspapers in her work to create collage and mixed media pieces.
Paul Draper develops drawings of architectural details with exceptional perspectives, usually of buildings that were either never completed, or they were built and later demolished.
Emmanuel Gori is a painter and sculptor
