Categories:

The exhibition shows the process of adapting the ancient Chinese Painting Nymph.

Nymph of the Luo River is a depiction of the famous prose-poem by Caozhi (AD 192–232). It talks about a doomed romance and describes a romantic encounter with the nymph, or goddess, of the Luo River in central China. 'Men and Gods must follow separate ways'.

A Chinese artist named Gu Kaizhi adapted this poem into a long-scroll painting. Chunhui attempts to make the painting into a 3D digital animation, to achieve this goal, Chunhui conducted a number of tests.

This exhibition includes 2D and 3D digital drawings, storyboard, and other media.
