New social enterprise unites gifted artists to create affordable art that raises funds for leading UK charities.

The Charity Arts Project launches with a 10-piece collection of screen-printed art and an exhibition and pop-up store at BOXPARK Shoreditch, with all profits from sales going to partner charities.

New social enterprise The Charity Arts Project will launch this Sunday (29 November 2015) with a 10-piece collection of screen-printed art released for sale to raise funds for some of the UK’s leading charities.

The launch collection sees an exciting line-up of artists – including illustrator May van Millingen, graphic designers Yoni Alter and Pixel, and print-maker Adam Bridgland – create affordable screen-prints to be sold to raise money and awareness for some of the UK’s leading charities, including Breast Cancer Now, Mind UK, MS Society, WWF and The Brain Tumour Charity.

The Charity Arts Project is built on a very simple concept: gifted artists freely donate their time and talent to create a design dedicated to a partner charity, with all profit from the sales of the prints then heading to that charity as a donation.

With the intricate designs expertly screen-printed by hand by Bath-based partners White Duck at considerable discount, the silk-screen prints – 50cm x 70cm and created using 100% recycled card –go on sale on Sunday, both online at www.thecharityartsproject.co.uk and in an exclusive pop-up store at BOXPARK Shoreditch, kindly donated free of charge by the E1 mall.

The project will also celebrate its launch with an exhibition at BOXPARK, who are further showing their support by hosting a gallery of 40”x60” digitally-printed vinyl boards in their upstairs walkway for the full month of December.
