Date:
Thursday, 5 November 2015 to Friday, 27 November 2015

onathan Clark will exhibit the most extensive celebration of the work of Bryan Wynter, at the centenary of the birth of this important artist in exhibition ‘Deep Current, High Country’. It will focus on work from the time Wynter became one of the leading lights in St. Ives along with Peter Lanyon, Roger Hilton and Patrick Heron in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Jonathan Clark gallery in London’s Chelsea is one of the leading galleries in the market for Modern British art, and one of the most respected.  Established for over 30 years, it represents the estates of an impressive list of significant post-war artists including Ivon Hitchens, Roger Hilton, Ceri Richards, Eduardo Paolozzi, Bryan Wynter and Kenneth Armitage.

The gallery also exhibits contemporary artists whose work falls broadly within the spectrum of figurative art, but is completely distinctive.
