In this new ART IN MIND exhibition we are pleased to present mixed-media works, paintings and sculptures inspired by themes of nature, urban life and human interaction. Showcasing the works by 9 UK-based and international artists, this show is an exciting journey in the multiplicity of contemporary artistic practices. Exhibiting for the second time this year, Alison Dunhill brings small-scale sculptures and 3D wall pieces of abstract composition with found objects. We are excited to have Ann Bubis’ elegant paintings and sculpture that find echo in the interest in nature addressed by Valentina González Sáez who presents 3D artworks combining minimal designs with pebbles and natural elements in her harmonic works. Working with painting and canvas, Sue-Anne McOnie, Ademola Akintola, Natasha Dikaya and Irina Anichshuck address diverse themes of human behavior and emotionality. Dante Galic’s unique ‘Neo-Grotesque’ style also responds to aspects of human interaction through clean lines and surreal images.
