The Brick Lane Gallery is thrilled to invite you to ABSTRACT ART, an exhibition presenting a collection of artworks by local and international artists who are looking for new ways to represent the world around them and their responses to it through different mediums and techniques. We will be taken into an inspiring journey to explore the variety in forms of abstraction, which invite us to have new experiences and relationships with colour, movement and painting itself.
One of the talented exhibitors, Evgenii Masko presents his works "Find yourself" where he wants to say that within each of us there is our own space, and it is important to be able to find and recognize it. For the artist, abstraction is a dialogue with the person's soul. Each of Evgenii's paintings has a certain energy message, which enables each person to establish with it a unique and unmistakable touch. Tatawa's work is an urgent, self-gratifying release through spontaneous gesture, it celebrates the inherent validity in any given expression. Her desire is to create an idealized space where erratic uncertainties swim in a womb of eternal perfection. Shona Masters creates energetic, dynamic pieces with contrasting dramatic brush strokes that result in artworks with deep visual impact. Her work completely involves the viewer as he discovers the different layers and dimensions hidden in her works. All the pieces showcased by the artists are unique and captivating examples of true abstraction.
You are warmly welcome to join us for a drink with the artists at the opening night of ABSTRACT ART at The Brick Lane Gallery open from 6pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 3rd August 2016.
