October Gallery Education runs a successful and inspiring monthly Family Learning Programme, as well as workshops in the gallery for Foundation and Key Stage 1 and 2. In this morning of training we share our experiences of working with Early Years to equip you with the tools to program, coordinate or facilitate your own workshops and projects.

This session will focus on Black History Month and explore how to tackle historical events and difficult subject matter with children aged 0 - 7, using the art in the new exhibition at October Gallery, 'Life through Extraordinary Mirrors' as a stimulus.

Led by specialist drama facilitator and story teller Dani Bradstreet, October Gallery Education presents an Early Years Training for artists, facilitators and anyone currently working with or wanting to work with children aged 0 - 7.

The session will explore multi-sensory workshop making for under 7s, which includes workshop planning, sources of inspiration and useful advice on materials.
