David de Rousseau, B.F.A., Kansas City Art Institute, Kansas City, Missouri; B.A., Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas, is a Painter/ Sculptor with works in collections throughout the United States and Europe. He has received numerous public and private commissions and has exhibited extensively throughout the United States. With a diverse background in interdisciplinary, environmental, alternative and experiential education, his 30 year teaching career includes instruction in graduate, degree and continuing education programs at a number of distinguished institutions. He has expertise in the fields of landscape architecture, liturgical art, illustration, book design, and art therapy. His publications include National Public Radio, Fox 4 TV News, Kansas City Star, Kansas City Live Magazine and History of the Catholic Archdiocese of KCMO. His work graces parks, churches, schools and public spaces throughout the United States with numerous examples in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Primarily a Painter in oils on canvas, David also sculpts in bronze and stone.
