Funny - Serious; a solo painting exhibition by Iranian poet and painter Hengameh Abedin opens on December 31, 2020.
Hengameh's painting universe is influenced by poems and poetic atmosphere, a walk between dream and reality. “A world with a series of both serious and comic phenomena having a tragic nature as well. Carefree and cheerful lumpens around me in a violent context tell me: I live in a completely ‘caricature’ world!. I still believe that the world around me continues its path in a messy, inconsistent way with rapid entropy. I; this wandering, alienated human-being, have been left stunned and dumb from this idle segregation.” she quoted.
