The Wonderful World of Animals and Nature, an international online solo painting exhibition by Beverly Chick opens on October 01 and will continue through October 31, 2023.
Beverly Chick's work is focused mostly on animals and nature as she believes, they bring renewal of spirit and a sense of balance and simplicity to life, especially when we find ourselves suffering from the claustrophobia of the modern world and the stress of too much responsibility. For Beverly like many others nature and animals are sources of healing that help us to experience a sense of the eternal. As a colored pencil mixed media artist, she combines colored pencil with other medium such as watercolor, acrylic, pastel and even collage to create her brilliant art.

Artist:
Beverly has her own business, Chick Artistic Creations where she works as an artist and art teacher. Her art education includes an Associate Degree in Fine Art from Fullerton College and art classes at Boise State University.
Beverly is a colored pencil mixed media artist whose primary focus and source of inspiration is animals and nature. She uses an unusual technique that involves using colored pencil with Turpenoid, using a cotton swab.
Beverly’s art has been featured in several publications including a coffee table book called, Diana in Art, Caxton Publishing, 2007 and the cover of a music CD by Richard Soliz and the Blue Rayz, 2017.
She has exhibited her art in various venues and art galleries within the United States, including Las Laguna Art Gallery in California. She has won top awards such as Best of Other Media at the Idaho Fair and Best of Drawing at the Art and Soul Juried Art Exhibit in 2020. Her art is featured in the 2023 international online art show, AQUA.
