Prefiguration and Configuration Explored, an international online solo drawing art exhibition by Sharon Teabo opens on March 01, and will continue for two months until April 30, 2024.
Sharon Teabo cubed series of drawings and paintings includes figures inside and outside of the cubes. These personal works of art include thousands of tiny figures that interact with geometric patterns, often in overall patterns that change according to light sources or viewing distance.

Artist:
My artistic endeavors include commercial/fine art and photography. I started drawing before I could write. My mother took me to her night college classes where I sat in the back of the room during a lecture and drew on the blank paper she provided. I do not remember having a coloring book. I drew pictures and then colored them. My route to photography was a straightforward one. When I was in elementary school I won a contest, the gift was a camera. I soon realized taking pictures was a way of recording snippets of time, moments saved. Drawing, taking pictures, and writing were ways of remembering.
I graduated from college with a BFA and an MFA, enjoyed artist-in-the schools and artist-in-residence positions several times. I have a passion for my artwork... be it studio or commercial.
