Artist:
Raised in Turin, Italy, I lived in Maine, Washington, D.C., NYC, L.A., Sydney, Australia, and now I am at home in Marblehead, MA. Photography has been my happy place for many years, but it was the pandemic that made me focus on my creativity.
As a budding artist, I was intrigued by Cartier-Bresson’s photos, taken an instant before the picture would have looked completely different. I also felt an artistic affinity in O’Keeffe’s way of enlarging details. These influences color my choice of frames, negative spaces, and completely fortuitus memorialized encounters.
It’s a joy for me to capture the beautiful, the weird, the funny all around us from my own garden to far flung places. It’s incredibly satisfying to share my work and see how others react to it, the conversations that ensue, and the inspiration that might spur others to unleash their creativity.
