Vivace; a solo online painting exhibition by the abstract, pop art painter known as Shroon opens on January 15, 2023, and will continue through February 15, 2023.
Curated by exhibizone, Shroon, a student of the renowned abstract expressionist artist, Francine Tint. Of her many influencers, she has studied Christopher Wool, Paul Klee, Gerhard Richter and Georgia Totto O'Keeffe, to name a few. Vivace is a collection that expresses Shroon's deep energetic life and playful spirit. Each painting absorbs your attention. Revealing subtle decisions occurring through implicit feeling. One senses her playful yet masterful use of strokes to evoke composition, glittering details, perfect color balance and masterful subtle textures. Joyful energetic and strategic glittery patterns dance with musical influences. Her bold strokes explore the potential for manipulation of the material. Her intuitive strokes harness powerful reverberations. Giving each painting a story that reveals itself slowly. One can study each painting for long periods of time and never completely see the beautiful nuances. Shroon has had a diverse art career. A career that includes designing for mainline musicians and multiple celebrities. Designs that have been seen in well known Broadway shows, souvenir brochures, mainstream magazines, fashion design features, websites, data visualizations and mobile apps and much more. Shroon has won over 20 prestigious design awards. She continues to paint in her studio in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

As an award winning creative director, shroon has worked with top tier companies including CBS television, The Ritz Carlton Magazine, Hal Leonard Corporation, Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Consumer Reports, The National Guitar Museum and the Artificial Intelligence Museum – to name a few.
Her career began designing for a number of mainline music celebrities, including, artists like, Randy Rhoads, Dave Mathews, Metallica, Johnny Winter, and Lenny Kravitz and for Broadway shows like, The Titanic, Jekyll and Hyde and Victor Victoria.
Over the course of her career she has been recognized with a number of the design industry’s highest awards, including Webby award for best web feature, MacWorld /iWorld’s first APPALOOZA contest in 2012, the Society of Publication Designers; Design Annual; Arizona Press Club; Western Publishing Association, Maggies; and Music Publishers’ Association Paul Revere Awards for illustration Excellence, and many more.
