WPA SLEEPOUT

WHAT:  Washington Project for the Arts announces the first poolside party of the season! WPA SLEEPOUT overnight slumber party will warm up WPA's new home at the Capitol Skyline Hotel with performances, music, movies, and other participatory happenings.

Starting at 9 p.m., slumber-party-themed performances will include the following artists: Maida Withers and Dance Construction Company, Kathryn Cornelius, Calder Brannock, and chukwumaa, as well as an installation by Megan Blafas, music by Patrick White of the Fatback DJs, and late-night karaoke with Jeremy Flick. Movies and video screenings will liven up the lounge through the night. Guests are encouraged to bring a tent or sleeping bag, sport their spring pajamas, and party under the stars with WPA. (In case of inclement weather, sleepover will move to the hotel ballroom.)

Other Info: 

Tickets are $25 before April 1 and $35 after April 1 (if available). A ticket includes two drink tickets, performances, music, art, and fun!
