Amos Eno Gallery is pleased to present The Blood and the Bones, a solo exhibition by José-Ricardo Presman. The exhibition will be on view in the gallery's new location at 56 Bogart Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. A reception will be held on Friday, March 4, from 7 - 9 pm.

In this latest installation the viewer is guided throughout the gallery by the floor portion and ceiling hangings, towards an "anagrammatic sculpture" in one corner of the gallery. The theme, as the title suggests, concentrates on the balancing of extremes, both in a physical sense as well as on the mental plane. The corner sculpture cites the most historically influential 20th century art work, Marcel Duchamp's Fountain, and in its new form alludes to a biblical town where a resurrection took place.

The artist will present a talk in conjunction with the exhibition on March 19 at 5 pm titled "From Thinking to Creative Thinking". Presman will describe the unique role of thinking as a starting point of creativity. The talk expands to encompass the imaginative, inspired and intuitive realms of esoteric science, and applies these to the contemporary individual. The artist will write and illustrate during his talk.
