Pacific Art League "HOLIDAY ART MARKET"
Take part in PAL’s Holiday Art Market! To apply, submit a digital portfolio of 5-8 works priced between $25 and $1000. All fine art media including ceramics and glass are encouraged to apply. Artists who are selected will display all of the works submitted in their digital portfolio, and may be asked to bring in additional work as pieces to sell. PAL will be open on select weekends and extended holiday hours! See submission details below.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all media except video and installation

OPENING RECEPTION & Holiday Art Festival: First Friday, December 6th, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Thursday, November 12th, 2015

HAND DELIVER ACCEPTED WORK: Friday & Saturday, November 27th-28th, 10AM - 4PM. All work must be hand-delivered to PAL. No shipped work will be accepted.
PICK UP WORK: Saturday, January 2nd, 2016 10AM - 4PM.

ENTRY FEE: Members: $40 Non-members: $50 (per portfolio of 5-8 works)
EXHIBITION FEE: FREE
SELECTION NOTIFICATION: Thursday, November 19th, 2015 by email. Selected artists will be listed on PAL website and other select marketing. No awards or prizes will be given for this exhibit.
EXHIBITION GUIDELINES:
- All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Pacific Art League.
- All works must be ready to hang by wire or sit on a pedestal or in a case.
- All 2D work must be framed or on gallery-wrapped canvas with printed edges
- All work must be for sale. Members receive 70% of sale price. Non-members receive 60% of sale price.
- Size of work limited to 40” wide by 50” tall, including frame.
- All work must be labeled on the front and back when dropped off with title and artist’s name.
ABOUT the JUROR:
Marianne McGrath is Curator of Art at New Museum Los Gatos (NUMU). Her passion for art and art education motivates her work as a curator, teacher and art historian. Prior to her position at NUMU, she served as Education Curator and Associate Art Curator at The Museums of Los Gatos. Her professional experience includes work as an independent curator, art historian, teacher and designer. Ms. McGrath has a Bachelor’s Degree in Art and holds a Master of Arts in Art History from SJSU.
