“Cycles”

“Cycles”, an exhibit of abstract/nonobjective artworks by Donna Orme and Ruth‑Anne Siegel will be held at Gallery House, 320 S California Ave., Palo Alto, CA (650‑326‑1668) from Tuesday, August 23 to Saturday, September 17, 2016.  A reception for the artists will take place on Sunday, August 28, 11am-1pm.  The public is invited.  Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, 11am to 3pm.

In the exhibit, two artists explore the use of acrylic paint to produce a variety pieces that are energized with warm and cool colors, bright or misty hues and kept fresh by the never-ending variety of shapes, spheres and lines.  Ruth‑Anne Siegel’s art is a translation of memory reflecting a specific time and place, while Donna Orme’s pieces are developed from deep, yet-to-be defined thoughts and feelings.

Ruth-Anne Siegel and Donna Orme have a strong desire to produce fine art.  Their actions are driven by inner voices expressing the joys, sorrows and emotions of living life.  United by their passion to create contemporary artworks, the public will be treated to an exciting new exhibition.

Both artists have national and international patrons.  Each one actively posts on social media including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Their personal websites at:   Donna Orme – (408) 249-7746 – donnaormeart@aol.com and Ruth-Anne Siegel – (650) 248-8846 – info@ruth-annesiegel.com
