Meg McKenzie Ryan, photographer and painter, presents "Compositions". Her work is honest, humble, and food for thought, sparks for the imagination. It's the lure of producing art that is composed of opposites — free flowing lines and hard forms — in a compelling balance that keeps me trying.

I've made my life and living through photography, shooting for the local newspaper, the Associated Press, several magazines, and on my own. Funny, I didn't know I could make a living shooting when I decided to study photography, but I did. And what a life it has been.
These photos are not digitally altered, so what you see is what was in front of the camera. Though I do like some digital photographs, assembled from perhaps numerous sources, these are all as I saw them in the viewfinder.
