The ceramic pieces are then placed into a kiln, fired for about 40 to 50 minutes, and then while still hot, the piece is then placed in a combustible material such as sawdust or newspaper. As the piece cools, the variety of colors on the pieces starts to show. Each ceramic piece is truly one of a kind! Intermediate level required.
