Derfner Judaica Museum + Art Collection at Hebrew Home at Riverdale invites the community to a free art workshop, “Art as Resistance: Bad Bunny – DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” and resistance sticker making with Bronx artist Ly Iris on Monday, June 15, at 11 a.m. in the Museum on the main campus of the Hebrew Home at Riverdale at 5901 Palisade Ave, Bronx. Admission to Museum programs are always free. Photo I.D. required for entry. Space is limited. RSVP to art@riverspring.org or 718.581.1596.
Join us for a morning of creative expression combining art and activism—artivism—with our special guest Ly Iris. The program includes a discussion on how art promotes resistance, inspired by the film DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny with participants having the opportunity to design an artwork of their own. The workshop is hosted by CreativeLy, a Bronx-based, hybrid creative ecosystem grounded in artivism, offering original artwork, creative services, and arts-based educational experiences.
