Coffee Talk: Michael Beck
Sunday, November 4, 11am

San Francisco, CA— CK Contemporary proudly presents its newest interview series, Coffee Talk, introducing artists and fresh roasts to collectors and art enthusiasts in the Bay Area. For its inaugural event, the gallery brings together renown photorealist painter Michael Beck and a variety of coffees from Unleashed Coffee, prepared by co-founder and master roaster Valerian Hrala.

Hosted by CK Contemporary, the morning begins with an open coffee bar followed by artist Michael Beck and curator Johnny Sampson as they engage in an intimate yet riotous discussion on the history of photorealism and the significance of truly seeing an object in an age of changing technologies.

CK Contemporary represents the very best in contemporary domestic and international artists working across a broad range of styles and media. While realism and representational art has long been the focus of the gallery, we continue to showcase artists whose distinctive points of view set them apart within genres as far ranging as abstraction to still life.

Located at 357 Geary Street in San Francisco’s historic Union Square, CK Contemporary is committed to new and experienced collectors who desire a skillful steward in the acquisition of paintings, drawings, and sculpture that are both timeless and unique.
