Agora Gallery is pleased to host the Chelsea International Photography Competition and corresponding exhibition featuring works by 28 photographers including: Andres Marcolla; Eduard Korniyenko; David Bartlett; Misha De-Stroyev; Alain Licari; Niki Polyocan; Steve Sumpton; Loïc Vendrame; ANTONIO PRIVITERA; Anca Moanta; Jeremy Damato; Gustavo Mittelmann; Eli Matityahu; Vincent Chahley; Artur Golacki; SIDNEY COSTA GASPAR; HaleLee Seoyeon; Laura Pannack; Steffen Tuck; Cecilia Manzanares Vargas; Stephanus Meyer; Michela Carmazzi; Alina Fedorenko; Ivan Pushkin; Jacob Wallwork; Kévin Galop; Clay Jordan; and Tibor Kércz.

With a distinguished panel of jurors and prizes valued at more than $55,000, the Chelsea International Photography Competition and exhibition features works by both professional and amateur photographers. The works selected encompass such diverse themes as identity, desolation, and cultural change, and subject matter ranges from portraits and still lifes, to abstractions and conceptual works. Each artist selected delivers a unique perspective on the tradition of photography and manipulates the medium to convey an idea, stage a fictional reality, or capture a tableau.

The Chelsea International Photography Competition exhibition will open January 27th with an opening reception Thursday, February 1st, 2018 6-8 PM and will remain on view until February 7, 2018.
