WITCHGRASS

Far afield, on the outer fringes, grows a weed. Scarred and falling apart, it’s leaves are in tatters. But the seedling dusts itself off, soaks in the world and continues to grow; lucid, composed and decisive. Eventually mended, her fibers grow strong, exuberant and beautiful.
