This 3-day pop-up show celebrates fatherhood and the strength of family through showcasing the work of artist Curtis Gutierrez and his daughter, Isabel Gutierrez. See the inheritance of the Chicano Mural Movement in their figurative work, and watch as both artists’ work simultaneously metamorphoses into abstraction. Both struggle to embody the epic themes of muralism in the movement and rhythm that still carry echoes of stories.
