This is our second MOOD exhibition that focuses on wildlife and animals with attitude. The goal of this show is to showcase the artwork of current animal artists whose work demonstrates mood elicits emotion through expression, ambiance, composition, use of materials, and more. Pieces run the gamut of emotion.
Our Best in Show winner, Mary Hogan, presented us with an image of a cat in full sass. The piece is just exactly what it needed to be to make a statement and get a reaction all at once. At the same time, it's interesting enough to keep the viewer coming back and looking deeper.
