Live Folk Music with Attitude

SF talent The Sam Chase performs outlaw folk.  Opening up the show is Sacramento's own indie-folk-pop duo According to Bazooka.This night will be a blast!

Sam puts on a high octane show with an outlaw attitude audiences can't get enough of. 

Opening up the show are Richard Urbino and Rene Martucci performing as the indie folk pop duo According to Bazooka. Based in Sacramento, their recent appearances include local TV shows Livewire and Listen up! Sacramento, as well as local radio stations  KUBU, KDVS and KDRT. The influences of California are infused into According to Bazooka's original music. Their sound calls to mind generations of musical duos such as Everly Brothers, Bodeans, She and Him and more.Their songs weave in genres of folk, country, rock and zydeco into a lively and engaging show. Their sound is a seamless blend of arch top guitar layered over the reedy tone of  accordion and wrapped up in a  blend of male and female vocals. Titles such as "Highway Five," "She Dances Alone," and "Victim of Circumstance" explore themes of life's travels, relationships and reappraisals with humor and spirit. Their 2015 CD release "Easy Come, Easy Go" features 11 catchy original songs sure to stick in your head. Their second album release is planned for release in the fall of 2017.
