"With a blend of rock-a-billy rhythm, country-blues guitar solos and pop vocal harmonies, According to Bazooka is truly unique."

J. Guitereez, Woodland Daily Democrat

Coming to the First Street Cafe in Benicia is the Sacramento retro folk-pop band According to Bazooka. The 2018 Sacramento Music Award nominees offers up a lively show of original music featuring catchy songwriting, three point harmony and a folk-rock vibe that calls to mind classic 1960s pop songs. These engaging and upbeat tunes strike a familiar chord as they offer up a playful look at navigating life. Titles such as I'm Too Busy (to fall in love), Victim of Circumstance, and No One To Blame (but myself) offer up age old stories of relationships, life's travels and reappraisals. According to Bazooka features Richard Urbino (vocals, guitar), René Martucci, (vocals, accordion), Jamie Knapp (vocals, upright bass) and Don Johnston (percussion, drums).

According to Bazooka celebrates their October 2017 album release "Where We Are Now". Produced by David Houston (String Theory) and recorded at Moon Studio in Sacramento, the album shares many delightful surprises. CDs are available at iTunes, CDbaby, spotify, performances and more.

This concert is all ages and admission is free. Dinner is available for purchase.
