Americana Pop Show in Benicia

Songwriters Richard Urbino and René Martucci perform new Americana originals on guitar, accordion and two point harmony. Inspired by life in the Sacramento Valley, this duo weaves their melodic short stories into a lively and engaging show. According to Bazooka serves up roots and pop driven tunes in an Americana presentation and a indie-folk-pop infused sound that draws from rock and roll, country, and zydeco. Titles such as "Highway Five," "She Dances Alone," and "Figure It Out" present lyrics with a witty edge and themes of life's travels, relationships and reappraisals. Their newly released CD "Easy Come, Easy Go" features 11 catchy songs. With new songs and another CD soon to be released, their show is collecting enthusiastic fans at every event.
