J. Mane Gallery is pleased to present its 3rd SnapShot International Online Juried Art Exhibition.

According to Wikepedia, the definition of Photography is the science, art, application and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film.

A photograph captures a moment in time.  Show us your favorite moments.

We invited artists to submit their best photography or digital art images.  All artists over the age of 18, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit. We received entries from the United States, Canada, and Australia.

Each of our themed exhibitions, awards for First, Second and Third Place.  The First Place winner for the 3rd SnapShot show is Lynette Gram for her photograph, Oil Cans. Lynette’s processing technique hold’s the viewer’s attention and the overall composition of the image are what set her work apart. Lynette is also the Featured Artist for the next four weeks.

Taking Second Place is Sandra Dalton for Missing You. Sandra’s dramatic use of black and white photography support the emotions of the subject. The view is left wondering who she is missing and why. And, Third Place goes to Kristopher Schoenleber for his photo, Slightly Impressed.  The point of view and composition, simplicity of the subject and the leading lines used, left the judges more than just slightly impressed.

Honorable Mention awards were given as well. Honorable Mention awards go to Kim Consroe for Azorean Moo, Michel J. Duke for Piazza G. Salveramini, Florence, Italy, Lindsey Grant for Rachel Kennedy, Angela Faye Novak, and Marcelle Monsour for Healing Light, Please visit the Monthly Winners Page to learn more about each of these award winning artists and to contact them directly about their work.

We thank all the competition participants.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the artwork in this exhibition, please contact the artists directly. J. Mane Gallery does not enter into the selling of artwork featured in any of the monthly online exhibitions. You will find the artist's website or email by clicking on their images.
