"To take my inner visions with my hands and create a work of art for you the viewer .... That is the ultimate in self expression.” "Painting allows me to find the soul of my subject and to manipulate reality by creating an illusionistic depth, filled with visual, spiritual and cultural flavors as I see fit, all on a flattened surface with a 3 dimensional look. It is such an amazing feeling to be able to express my innermost feelings in a nonverbal way.
