Part curatorial exercise, part installation, Endless Horizon brings together artists’ works from a wide variety of genres and mediums, and from across the United States, and groups them into a continuous installation. Endless Horizon will show pieces from both abstract and landscape artists’ bodies that are united by a strong horizon line, hung to create the illusion of an endless horizon around the gallery.

On August 22nd, bG Gallery will bring Endless Horizon to life with the addition of Painted Forest. Art is a living entity; artists plant its seeds, and viewers cultivate its growth. With that in mind, Painted Forest is an exhibition of freestanding artworks that form a veritable forest of art within the gallery’s walls. The work is both figuratively and literally, “off the wall”, as it appears to sprout from the gallery’s floor. Artworks vary in size and shape, creating a sense of organic growth, and viewers move freely through the labyrinth the work constitutes, becoming, themselves, an intrinsic element of the aesthetic “forest”.
