FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Roseville, CA – British artists will be taking over Roseville’s Blue Line Arts for a six-week show. Blue Line Arts welcomes four fabulous artists Carol Hodgson, Tom McKeith, Zoran Peshich, and Margaret Realica for the British Invasion art exhibition, scheduled November 30th through January 5th.

Each one of the show’s featured artists hails from the UK, but are currently living and creating in Northern California.

Tom McKeith was born in Scotland and moved to America to study photography, earning his Master’s Degree and studying with Ansel Adams in California. He now lives in Sacramento and utilizes computers as a tool to combine his knowledge of photography, drawing, and painting.

Margaret Realica, another featured artist, has exhibited and taught workshops across the U.S. and Canada.  Her work en route has adapted to the various materials available and encompassed different aesthetics, overlapping to produce her current, visually layered work.

Carol Hodgson is a British artist who now lives in Northern California and creates work using pastel and paint. She has over twenty-five years of experience as a self-employed professional artist.

Zoran Peshich was born in Yugoslavia but raised in England, and has received a degree in Fine Art and Environmental Design. He currently lives in Sacramento, California, and continues to paint, work on his digital art projects, and create ceramic sculpture.

Alongside British Invasion, the Connected art exhibit is presented by Concept: Art + Movement, a cultural arts coalition dedicated to exhibiting the work of artists and culture bearers of the Pacific Western region. C:AM supports native and indigenous arts and curation through community-centered contemporary art exhibits, professional development workshops, and educational programming.

Additionally, sixteen artists are exploring artistic themes and styles in the 30x30 Show. Each artist will create 30 works in 30 days that are all the same size: 6 inches by 6 inches. This is the perfect opportunity to expand your art collection or pick up original artwork as a gift for the upcoming holidays.

Lastly, Blue Line Art’s Feature Foyer will display Handmade Jewelry from a variety of artists. Ranging from Sterling silver to gems and glass beads, the exhibit will feature something for every jewelry lover to admire.

These exhibits will be on display from November 30th to January 5th at Blue Line Arts in Roseville. There will be a Third Saturday reception on December 15th from 6pm to 8:30pm and an artist lecture from 5pm to 6pm. The event is free with music, appetizers, and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Blue Line Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a vibrant community through the arts, located at 405 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA.
